Oskar Zięta is the founder of the ZIETA brand and company, which are a hallmark of Polish design on the entire world. FiDU – innovative technology patented by Zięta, means in short inflating metal sheets and allows to create unique domestic objects and art on every possible scale. Bionic tables, steel mirrors, reminiscent of water drops, diamond-inspired sculptures from the Crystals Collection, the iconic PLOPP stool or hangers that can be formed in an oven, are just a few examples from the more than two-hundred-piece selection. Zieta studio’s realizations paved the way for numerous museums around the world – they are present at MOMA (London), Centre Pompidou (Paris), Pinakothek der Moderne (Munich) and Zurich Design Museum. For urban sculptures, i.e. WIR in the Northern Gallery in Warsaw or for the NAWA on Daliowa Island in Wroclaw, Zięta received many prestigious prizes (German Design Award 2019), distinctions and nominations (Mies Van der Rohe 2019). The Wire – a prominent british magazine, called his design "furniture of the future”.
